Yet another way of expressing best practice in modern innovation?!?

I recgonized a post from @torgronsund who pointed to a "new" innovation method called FORTH.

FORTH is an acronym and stands for "Full steam ahead", "Observe and learn", "Raise ideas", "Test ideas" and "Homecoming".

I watched the video and read the short description. I am not yet sure how "new" and "different" the method is. It seems that it mainly combines a couple of well accepted methods (e.g. OODA loop from Boyd).
